Château Baccarat - A perfect Score
Sensitive to the methods and to the manners of the consumers, Château Baccarat is attentive, in 2012,
to the new tastes of the time. Given the variety of wines throughout the world, Baccarat goes in search
of delicacy and finesse, rather than overpowering flavors.
Through a unique and exceptional stemware range, one that is completely in harmony with the taste
of wine, this new collection of glasses will appeal universally to all of those with a fine palate, from the
neophytes to the experts…
The enhancement of aromas
Rich in phenolic compounds, red wines need, by their very essence, amplitude in order to release
their aromas. Whether poured in a copious and sparing volume, the Château Baccarat red wine glass enables optimal aeration when the glass is swiveled, revealing the harmony of the aromas thanks to its wide and deep base.
Based on the acidity and the mineral content, white wines require less volume to express the range of
flavors. Smaller in size, the Château Baccarat white wine glass accentuates the great complexity of the
aromatic undertones with every swivel of the stemware.
The form of oenology
To reveal and mediate the subtlety of wines, the Château Baccarat glass rests upon three formal
principles. These principles guide their function, their effect, and their presentation:
